- Campus elections. An outspoken Republican, running for re-election to the student judiciary, e-mailed a political ad to my entire ethics class, a violation of election by-laws. She was disqualified and privately humiliated. There had been seven candidates, including incumbents, for six seats.

- 92 year old Lowell man hailed as a hero. Jimmy was going to jump off the bridge this novegenerian was walkin' on, until he tackled Jimmy and sat on his face. Don't worry; the cops took Jimmy to State "prick-me-in-the-ass" Hospital for a lengthy stay!

- Legal hangups for Windows 98. The promising new release from Microsoft Corporation could be delayed for months because of ongoing antitrust litigation. But I think sales of the Spice Girls and Hanson would more than make up for the resultant tech sector deficit. Am I right, folks?
